Meet the Team

Ian Watkins, Director 

Ian is the man with the vision: after 20 years in boat sales, he realised that many customers use their boats as floating holiday homes, rarely leaving port. He has therefore made it his mission to design and source a craft that provided all the benefits of living on water without compromising on luxury, to introduce new customers to the marina and boating way of life.

As Director, Ian’s role is to provide an environment which enables the team to carry out their responsibilities in looking after our customers, as well as strategic planning to keep the business pointing in the right direction.

Fuelled by strong coffee, when Ian’s not busy building the Waterlodge success, he enjoys living in the New Forest and getting afloat on the Solent.

Katie Watkins, Accounts Exec

An experienced Executive Assistant, mostly in the legal sector, Katie made the jump to help brother-in-law Ian keep things running smoothly in the Waterlodge office.

Responsible for keeping the books balanced and invoicing, Katie is the oil keeping the cogs moving smoothly behind the scenes

When she’s not making sure the Waterlodge team are on point at all times, Katie enjoys being with her family, campervanning and planning holidays by the beach and sea.

Tom Kolodz, Service Technician

Tom Kolodz is our Service Technician. He brings with him a wealth of multi-skilled experience from the construction industry, and is a versatile problem-solver.

His is fluent in English and Polish, and has undertaken a comprehensive Product Training Program with our manufacturing partners in Poland, so he knows Waterlodges inside and out.

Danny Allen, Sales Partner Brighton

Danny has joined the Waterlodge UK having over 20 years experience in the property market across the south east, which until now, this has all been on land however the love for these fantastic crafts has quickly taken over and can be seen with his enthusiasm to help our customers build their bespoke Waterlodge and realise their dreams working closely with Darren and Katie.

When Danny isn’t helping our customers he enjoys time with his family, enjoying the gorgeous countryside and playing out with his friends on their motorbikes
